NIKKI

Nikki is my first comic book.

It was published in 2020 by Syster förlag.

Nikki is also published in South Korea by Woorinabi Publishing Co. and in Russia by No Kidding Press.

Nikki is about a girl who lives in the archipelago outside of Gothenburg. The adults in her life think she needs to loose weight. No one asks her how she really feels.

 

She feels super lonely in her new school, but eventually she is starting to hang out with a group of queer kids and she gets new perspectives on her body, her sexuality and politics.

Nikki is a coming of age novel about finding yourself – and love.
